   Was greatly intrested in your article “Donald MacIver at Lemreway School”
   Donald was my maternal grandfather, and I’d be very interested in knowing whether you have any further details of his life in Lemreway.
   I’m considering a visit to Lewis this summer and provided there is no undue native unrest in the Lochs area, would be prepared to visit Lemreway.

   Were the 2 Mackaskill (sp?) brothers at the school then? I hear one of them bought their old school but I’m not sure whether it’s this school.

   I don’t think they would have quite reached school age then and you are correct, one of them has purchased the school
